A difficulty with humor : Events Unlimited 1: Cold Turkey

Although the author sometimes overwrites scenes, this is a fun difficulty with an unlikely sidekick, a white turkey, who was originally supposed to be a smoked turkey breast, but, well things happen.

In the midst of two murders, Annike finds herself ready to add a few bodies to the list as she attempts to pull off an whole weekend of Thanksgiving events for the community.

The comedy keeps you from taking the killings too seriously, so while there are some close calls, this is more of a light read than a bone chilling mystery. Of course, it has a touch or two of romance to liven things up. I look transmit to Reading future books in this series
