Nice but Not "all-weather" - way too warm : Better than Down All-Season Comforter
I just loved this comforter when I first got it. It brightened up my bedroom and was very soft and warm. But, then it started to pill, you know, like a sweater gets those slight balls of fuzz. I only had it about 2 months and I had slight balls of fuzz floating over my bedroom floor. It was "shedding" and it didn't stop. I was going to take it to the laundromat to wash it, because it assuredly won't fit in a home washer. The builder recommends to hang dry, which won't get rid of most of the fuzzies like a dryer would. Well, I never did get to the laundromat, no time.
The worst part for me was, I have allergies and one of the reasons I chose this comforter was the fact it was advertised as hypo- allergenic. Not so at all. I haven't had a good night's sleep since I've been using this comforter. Constant sneezing, runny/ stuffy nose, etc..I thought my allergies were worse because of the season but when I figured out that it all started when the only thing new in my room was this comforter, I packed it away and now I am fine and sleep very well through the night, no sneezing, etc.. What a shame, I am very disappointed.
